STAINLESS STEEL SS316L
STAINLESS STEEL SS316L

Stainless steel SS316L suits corrosive and high-temperature environments, including specialised pharmaceutical and photographic equipment, thanks to its weldability and resistance to corrosive chemicals. Long used in CNC, it is also available for 3D printing. Additive manufacturing enables topology optimisation, hollow forms, complex components and lattices in metal. Post-processing can be demanding and requires trained specialists such as 3Dexperts.ch.

ALUMINUM ALSI10MG
ALUMINUM ALSI10MG
AlSi10Mg aluminium is a fine metal powder for SLM printing. Lightweight yet strong, it suits many common applications, tolerates mechanical loads and high temperatures, and costs less than some specialised metals. We see it used in automotive, robotics, architecture and design. SLM can still involve significant time and cost: AlSi10Mg parts often require wire cutting, blasting, annealing, polishing and other finishing. An experienced service provider such as 3Dexperts.ch can coordinate these steps.
