View, install or load
A visual model represents form and appearance. An installation model assesses interfaces. A loaded functional test also needs relevant material properties and load direction.
Choose material and process together
SLA may suit detailed models; SLS or MJF suit many functional plastic geometries. CNC is an option for machined metal and plastic parts. The specific application matters: no process is universally best.
Plan the next development step
Record what changes after the test and which features are confirmed. A prototype does not replace production approval. Changes to material, manufacturing or finish may require new tests.
